You decided to set a reminder for a
note, seated the date and time of the reminder, and saved the note, but
the reminder didn't work at the scheduled time. Why can this happen? If
you set everything correctly, but did not hear the signal, there may be
two reasons:

The reminder worked, but you didn't hear it because there was no sound.
Go to the app's Settings tab, select the alarm sound settings section, and do the following:
- Select the desired sound by clicking the
button.
- Press the
button to hear the sound.
- Move the
slider to set the desired volume.
If you have not heard the sound, there may be several reasons for this:
- The selected sound cannot be used for a signal on your device. Select a different sound.
- Do not disturb mode is enabled. Disable this mode.
- Sound playback is disabled on the device. Turn on the sound on your device.
If the sound is playing normally, but the reminder doesn't work, go to step 2.

Your device's current settings do not allow reminders to work.
This is because some manufacturers of smartphones and other devices try
to save battery power and do not allow applications from other
developers to run background tasks. What you need to do:
- Go to your smartphone Settings and find the battery settings section.
- Find battery settings for apps.
- Disable battery consumption optimization (management) for the Multinotes app.

Some devices may have additional settings that prevent other apps from working properly.
For example, the
Redmi Note Pro device has a
Game Speed Booster
option that disables all background tasks to free up resources for
games. Naturally, while this option is enabled, reminders will not be
able to work.
